If you are just beginning the search (or still on the hunt) for the right ceremony and reception sites, I encourage you to consider the many wonderful vineyards throughout Oregon.  For wine aficionados, vineyards are a perfect place to tie the knot.  But even if you are not particularly obsessed with wine, you can still take advantage of the laid back ambiance of a vineyard wedding.  Plus, the photo opportunities are extraordinary, from romantic pictures among the vines to stunning shots within the of the vineyard buildings.

There are many options for vineyard weddings in Oregon.  Today I profile Zenith Vineyards.

 

Weddings and pinot noir go hand in hand at Zenith Vineyards.  Located in Eola-Amity Hills near Salem, it is about a 45 minute drive from Portland.  The vineyard can accompany weddings from small to large.  A gorgeous Grand Ballroom has wood floors, 20 foot ceilings and a fireplace.  Ceremonies and receptions may also be held outdoors during the warmer months.

Brides will love the private Bridal Salon which overlooks the vineyard ballroom.  It provides a comfortable place with plenty of room for you and your attendants to dress and primp.  For added fun, two balconies let you sneak peaks at the guests below in the ballroom.

Nor did Zenith forget about the groom.  There is a Man Den with a vintage pinball machine and a flat screen TV.  Letting the guys kick back while the ladies get ready, these folks have thought it all out!

The rental fee includes use of the grounds for photography, and for the facility for nine hours on your wedding day.  It also includes basic tables and chair set up, and the rehearsal time.

Zenith can, of course, provide the wine for your guests.  They feature their own wines, as well a selection of wines from other Oregon vineyards, so you and your guests can enjoy authentic local wines during the reception.  There is a wide selection of white, red, and sparkling wines.
