Happy New Year!
This week I had the luxury of having lunch with Françoise Weeks. You may have read my previous blog post about Françoise and her work as an incredibly-talented wedding florist. She is loved by many in the wedding industry here in Portland. Lauren Brooks, who captured the photo above, also adores her and recently blogged about her Christmastime Wreath-Making Class. Too cool!
Françoise is in the top of her class when it comes to floral design. She is also charming and affable. Before our lunch, I toured her studio, where she had buckets of fresh flowers lined up for an upcoming wedding. Sitting in the buckets, the flowers looked so gorgeous, I could only dream about how Françoise would make them into amazing bouquets and centerpieces.
For those of you who are in the search for a florist, I highly recommend you set up a meeting with Françoise. You will not be disappointed.
